The whole of it, in one paragraph

This site has no accounts, no sign-ups, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels, and no cookies. It does not ask you for anything and it does not collect anything about you. The IRVIN panel in the corner runs entirely inside your browser, and what you type into it is never sent anywhere.

The sections below say the same thing in more detail, including the two honest caveats: your web host keeps ordinary server logs, and the IRVIN panel remembers one thing in your browser. Both are described in full.

What This Site Does

No accounts: There is nothing to sign up for. The site has no login, no user profiles, no newsletter, no forms that submit anywhere, and no database of visitors. There is no account for you to have.
No cookies: This site sets no cookies of any kind — not essential ones, not analytics ones, not advertising ones. There is no cookie banner on this site because there is nothing to consent to.
No tracking and no analytics: The site loads no analytics service, no advertising network, no social media pixel, no third-party font service, and no third-party script of any kind. Every file the page loads — the stylesheets, the two scripts, the crest, the favicon — comes from this site itself. There is no measurement of who visits, how often, or what they read.
How the IRVIN panel works: The panel in the corner is a small script that runs in your browser. When the page loads, your browser downloads one file from this same site — a knowledge file of prepared answers — in exactly the way it downloads the stylesheet. Everything after that happens on your device: what you type is matched against that file locally, and an answer is shown. Your question is never transmitted — not to this site, not to a third party, not to anyone. There is no server listening for it, and no artificial intelligence service behind it. IRVIN is a fictional character made of prepared text, and it cannot learn anything about you.
The one thing stored in your browser: If you close the IRVIN panel, the script records a single value in your browser’s sessionStorage so that IRVIN does not reopen itself on the next page. That value records only that you closed the panel. sessionStorage is not a cookie: it is never attached to network requests, it cannot be read by any other website, and your browser deletes it when you close the tab. Nothing else is stored on your device by this site.
Server logs: This site is served by a hosting provider, and like nearly every web server that provider records ordinary request logs: an IP address, a timestamp, the file requested, and the browser user-agent string. These logs exist to deliver pages and protect the service from abuse. They are not used to build a profile of you, are not combined with anything else, and are not sold or shared. They are a byproduct of how the web works, and we would rather name them here than let this page claim a purity it does not have.
Links away from this site: If you follow a link off this site — to an explorer, a chart, an exchange, or anywhere else — the site you arrive at has its own privacy practices, and this page does not cover them.
Children: This site is not directed at children. It collects nothing from anybody, which includes them.
Your rights and requests: Because this site holds no personal information about you, there is nothing for you to access, correct, export, or delete, and no request could return anything. If you would like to ask about this in any case, use Contact.
If any of this changes: If analytics are ever added, if a third-party chart or embed is ever placed on a page, or if anything is ever collected, this page will say so plainly and in this same register before it happens. A privacy page that quietly stops being true is worse than none.

Note from Investor Relations I record one thing about you: whether you have closed my panel. I record it so that I do not reopen after you have closed me, which would be rude. Your browser discards it when you close the tab. I never receive it. I would not know what to do with it if I did.
